The rising star has impressive online audience
The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile supporters as she makes her LPGA debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns numerous international courses and regularly plays against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she revealed.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."
"He practically suggested to play and have fun," she added.
"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, so he's rather occupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has competed in only three events in 2024 and holds the 461st position in AJGA standings.
However she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating Vanessa.
"He stands as the best player globally," Kai stated.
"Additionally, he's an even better person. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, following whatever happens."
Kai will face multiple most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Officials stated that involving Kai exposes the sport to different demographics, specifically with youth audiences.
Kai maintains millions of followers and has started a personal apparel and wellness brand.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
