Christian Horner Reportedly Contacting Numerous Grand Prix Team Bosses
Previous Red Bull team boss Christian Horner is reportedly "ringing up pretty much every team owner" as he pursues a return to Formula 1, as stated by the Aston Martin team CEO Andy Cowell.
The Silverstone-based squad is included in the organizations that are associated with the ex-boss.
The Aston Martin CEO revealed he had checked the developments with squad proprietor Lawrence Stroll this past Friday at the Marina Bay race.
"It seems like Christian is ringing up pretty much every team owner at the moment," said the CEO.
"I can definitively state there are no intentions for the involvement of Christian in an operational or investment role in the future."
Other Teams Comment
The American team boss Ayao Komatsu disclosed that the former Red Bull leader had "approached" the Stateside organization but noted: "Things haven't advanced. It is finished."
The French manufacturer executive director Steve Nielsen stated the team's executive adviser and unofficial chief Flavio Briatore was "long-standing acquaintances" with Horner.
The team official added: "I don't know what they talk about. What I understand is there are no intentions for Christian to join Alpine but that isn't to say it might not transpire."
The Grove-based squad chief James Vowles declared that the ex-chief had not approached them.
"We're content with the setup we have and it's functioning," Vowles said. "There's no cause to alter this."
