A chopper soaring above a well-attended California beach suddenly commenced twirling out of control, ultimately dropping height and plunging into a row of palm fronds as onlookers observed.

Footage uploaded on the internet capture the aircraft beginning to twirl over Huntington Beach then falling towards the edge of the shore, where it gets stuck between palm trees and a steps near the coastal road.

Rescue Operation Information

Emergency responders reported five individuals were transported to a medical facility involving two individuals who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the incident on that day.

Three people on the pavement were harmed. Information on their condition were still under review.

What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.

Planned Function

Authorities said the helicopter was linked to an annual “Cars with Copters” benefit occasion planned for the next day.
